This class is taught in English. The exam may be taken in German or English.

Course description

The class aims to teach:

• knowledge in activity based demand generation for transport models
• concepts of agent-based transport simulations
• Routing

Students will gain practical experiences in MATSim - multi agent transport simulation. Please see www.matsim.org for further information.

Preconditions
Basic programming skills (preferably in JAVA) are required.

The exercise takes place in the MOVE-IT, SG 12. To access MOVE-IT you need a chip card, which you can get there. A deposit is required for the issue of the card.

The number of participants for this event is limited. Information on any necessary registration at the department will be announced in the 1st lecture week.
